About the Artist …
I am PhD student in Geology at the University at Buffalo. My watercolor paintings are inspired by scenes from fieldwork at lakes in western New York. I study these lakes because their sediment preserves information about past climate conditions, which can inform predictions for future climate change in the Great Lakes region.
