We received an unprecedented number of submissions and want to ensure that your artwork can be showcased in our community of artists and we are grateful to receive & review such a wide array of inspiring work created throughout the Western NY, Central NY, and Finger Lakes regions.
Lake Affect Magazine wanted to create a special space for the artists that we cannot publish in our upcoming issue, so we created an online gallery to showcase their work to our entire readership and viewership. This is an opportunity for exposure that we hope will also facilitate collaboration and community among artists.

About the Artist
I am a fiber artist who creates wall hangings, vessels and clothing by wet felting wool roving, silks, and paper fibers. I create paper art quilts in the Korean technique known as “Joomchi,” by which mulberry and other papers are wet felted and manipulated until they become strong. I also work in mixed media and collage.
