We received an unprecedented number of submissions and want to ensure that your artwork can be showcased in our community of artists and we are grateful to receive & review such a wide array of inspiring work created throughout the Western NY, Central NY, and Finger Lakes regions.
Lake Affect Magazine wanted to create a special space for the artists that we cannot publish in our upcoming issue, so we created an online gallery to showcase their work to our entire readership and viewership. This is an opportunity for exposure that we hope will also facilitate collaboration and community among artists.
Peggy Kehoe
About the Artist
Peggy Kehoe began learning formal painting techniques as a child in Wichita, Kansas. She lived in Florida and Washington State before moving to New York State to attend college. Kehoe has studied with a number of prominent regional artists at four different colleges in the Rochester NY area. She worked as a window display artist before teaching art in Pittsford NY. Now she works full-time in her home studio in Honeoye Falls. Kehoe’s work has recently been exhibited in nationally and regionally juried art shows, and her paintings are held in private collections in New York State, Washington State, North Carolina and Massachusetts.
